Folk Tales, Fairy Tales and Fables/NON-NEGOTIABLE TASKS/New Desk Groups

The students were back at work this morning writing a detailed paragraph about the similarities and differences within folk tales, fairy tales and fables. Included in their paragraphs: "two finger" indentation, strong beginning sentence, detail, detail, detail and a strong ending sentence.  

We have also started a list of NON-NEGOTIABLE TASKS for this time of year in 2nd grade.  Name/Date and Legible handwriting were at the top of the list.

Our new desk groups are "rays of sunshine"!
